1st Night

A lot of goofing around and chatting, while Jake and Angie made their characters.
It does look to be a very interesting crew shaping up.

We did get one "origins episode" in - I plan on running about 3-4 of these per character before running "The Hire" scenes for each character and then going into the first day of the crew on the ship together - this being a young Becka (Sarah's character, the pilot) on her first solo mission flying supplies for her dad using his transport short range shuttle. En route another ship came up behind the JK Industries ship (apparently either the company that hired Becka's dad or the name of Becka's dad's company) and during an audio exchange demanded that she set down, saying he had his ship's weapons trained on her.

Becka's sensors picked up no weapons, and she didn't think the guy was a police officer so she refused. The unidentified man then told her that he was bringing in more ships to force her to land, and Becka's sensors could neither confirm nor deny this. She tried to simply outrun him, and when that failed she pulled off some fancy maneuvers to pull away but not completely lose him.

In a final audio exchange Becka tried charming the man, offering to meet him for lunch after she dropped off her cargo. The man, thoroughly taken in by Becka's sweet nature, agreed.

And as such we learned where Becka met her fiancé, the "cop."
